NORTHERN RAILWAY RUNS 518 WINTER SPECIAL TRAINS

For the convenience of rail passengers during the Winter Season, Northern Railway has provided 15 pairs of Special trains with a cumulative run of 518 trips in all as per the under-mentioned programme:-

0403/0404 DELHI-UDHAMPUR-DELHI SPECIAL TRAIN : SCHEDULE EXTENDED UPTO 07.01.2009: TOTAL 38 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 0403 Delhi Jn.-Udhampur special train will run daily from 01.12.2008 to 07.01.2009 at 11.45 p.m. to arrive at Udhampur at 12.40 p.m. (noon) the next day. In the return direction, the 0404 Udhampur-Delhi Jn. special train will run daily from Udhampur from 2.12.2008 to 08.01.2009 at 9.40 p.m to arrive at Delhi Jn. at 10.30 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of 3 tier AC, Second Sleeper and General Second Class coaches, the 0403/0404 will stop at Panipat, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Chakki Bank & Jammu Tawi stations enroute in both directions

0413/0414 VARANASI-JAMMU TAWI-VARANASI DAILY SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN TOTAL 38 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 0413 Varanasi-Jammu Tawi Superfast special train will run from Varanasi daily from 1.12.2008 to 07.01.2009 at 01.00 p.m. (noon) to arrive at Jammu Tawi at 11.05 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 0414 Jammu Tawi-Varanasi Superfast special train will run daily from Jammu Tawi from 02.12.2008 to 08.01.2009 at 2.00 p.m.(noon) to arrive at Varanasi at 10.30 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of 2 tier AC, 3 tier AC, Second Sleeper and General Second Class coaches, the 0413/0414 will stop at Sultanpur, Nihalgarh, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Ambala Cantt., Ludhiana & Chakki Bank stations enroute in both directions

2457A/2458A VARANASI- DELHI -VARANASI DAILY SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN - TOTAL 38 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 2457A Varanasi-Delhi Superfast special will run daily from Varanasi from 01.12.2008 to 07.01.2009 at 8.00 p.m. to arrive at Delhi at 09.00 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 2458A Delhi-Varanasi Supefast special train will run daily from Delhi Jn. from 02.12.2008 to 08.01.2009 at 6.15 p.m. to arrive at Varanasi at 7.30 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of 3 tier AC and Second Sleeper and General Second Class coaches, the 0413/0414 will stop at Sultanpur, Lucknow, Moradabad & Ghaziabad stations enroute in both directions

2230A/2229A HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN -LUCKNOW (VIA MORADABAD)- HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN DAILY SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN -TOTAL 38 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 2229A Lucknow-Hazrat Nizamuddin Superfast special train will run daily from Lucknow from 01.12.2008 to 07.01.2009 at 11.30 p.m. to arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin at 08.10 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 2230A Hazrat Nizamuddin -Lucknow
Superfast special train will run daily from Hazrat Nizamuddin from 02.12.2008 to 08.01.2009 at 11.30 p.m. to arrive at Lucknow at 7.45 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of 1st AC, 2 tier AC, 3 tier AC, Second Sleeper and General Second Class coaches, the 0413/0414 will stop at Ghaziabad, Moradabad and Bareilly stations enroute in both directions

2205A/2206A HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN-DEHRADUN- HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN WEEKLY A.C. SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN - TOTAL 17 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 2205A Hazrat Nizamuddin-Dehradun Superfast special train will run on every Saturday from Hazrat Nizamuddin from 06.12.2008 to 28.03.2009 at 11.55 p.m. to arrive at Dehradum at 05.40 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 2206A Dehradun-Nizamuddin A.C Supefast special train will run every Sunday from Dehradun at 11.25 p.m. from 07.12.2008 to 29.03.2009. to arrive at H. Nizamuddin at 5.05 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of AC Coaches, the train will stop at Ghaziabad, Meerut City, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee, Haridwar Jn stations enroute in both directions.


2456/2455 NEW DELHI –GUWAHATI RAJDHANI SPECIAL TRAIN (BI-WEEKLY)- TOTAL 12 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 2456 New Delhi-Guwahati Rajdhani bi-weekly special train will depart from New Delhi on every Sunday & Thursday from 30.11.2008 to 08.01.2009 at 2.00 p.m. to arrive at Guwahati at 8.15 p.m. the next day. While its return service the 2455 Guwahati-New Delhi Rajdhani bi-weekly special train will depart from Guwahati on every Tuesday and Saturday from 02.12.2008 to 10.01.2009 at 1.45 p.m. to arrive at New Delhi at 7.40 p.m. the next day.

Consisting of 1st AC, 2 tier AC and 3 tier AC, coaches, the 2456/2455 will stop at Kanpur, Allahabad, Mughalsarai, Patna, Barauni, Katihar, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, New Cooch Bihar, Kokrajhar & New Bongaigaon stations enroute in both directions

2107A/2108A FAIZABAD-LOK MANYA TILAK TERMINUS (VIA KANPUR JHANSI) SUPERAFAST BI-WEEKLY SPECIAL TRAIN- TOTAL 7 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 2108 A Faizabad- Lok Manya Tilak Terminus Bi-Weekly Superfast Special train will depart from Faizabad from 18.12.2008 to 08.01.2009 at 6.00 p.m. on every Monday and Thursday to arrive at Lok Manya Tilak Terminus at 9.55 p.m. the next day. In the return direction the 2107A Lok Manya Tilak Terminus –Faizabad Superfast Bi-Weekly Special train will depart from Lok Manya Tilak Terminus from 20.12.2008 to 10.01.2009 at 00.35 a.m( midnight hours) on every Wednesday and Saturday to arrive at Faizabad at 4.25 a.m. the next day.

This bi-weekly superfast special train having One AC Two Tier, One AC Three Tier, 8 Second Class Sleeper, 4 General Second Class besides two Brake Vans coaches will halt at Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Bina, Bhopal, Itarasi, Khandwa, Bhusawal, Manmad, Nasik Road and Igat Puri stations enroute in both the directions.

2534A/ 2533 A LUCKNOW- LOK MANYA TILAK TERMINUS BI-WEEKLY SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN- TOTAL 7 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 2534A Lucknow- Lok Manya Tilak Terminus Bi-Weekly Superfast Special train will depart from Lucknow from 17.12.2008 to 07.01.2009 at 8.20 a.m. on every Wednesday and Saturday to arrive at Lok Manya Tilak Terminus at 8.40 a.m. the next day. In the return direction the 2533A Lok Manya Tilak Terminus –Lucknow Superfast Bi-Weekly Special train will depart from Lok Manya Tilak Terminus from 19.12.2008 to 09.01.2009 at 7.45 p.m. on every Monday and Friday to arrive at Lucknow at 8.05 p.m. the next day.

This bi-weekly superfast special train having One AC Two Tier, One AC Three Tier, 8 Second Class Sleeper, 4 General Second Class besides two Brake Vans coaches will halt at Unnao, Kanpur, Orai, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Bhopal, Habibganj, Itarasi, Khandwa, Bhusawal, Manmad, Nasik Road, Kalyan and Dadar stations enroute in both the directions.



0905/0906 BANDRA TERMINUS-JAMMU TAWI SUPERFAST A.C. (BI-WEEKLY) SPECIAL TRAIN: TOTAL 7 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 0906 Jammu Tawi- Bandra Terminus Superfast A.C. Special train departing from Jammu Tawi on every Wednesday & Fridayday has been extended to run on 24.12.2008, 26/12, 31/12, 2/1/09, 7/1, 9/1 and 14/1/09 at 12.00 p.m. (noon) to arrive at Bandra Terminus at 6.55 p.m. the next day. In the return direction the 0905 Bandra Terminus-Jammu Tawi Superfast A.C. Special train departing from Bandra Terminus on every Monday & Wednesday has been extended to run on 22.12.08, 24/12,29/12, 31/12, 5/1/09, 7/1,and 12/1/09 at 4.00 p.m. to arrive at Jammu Tawi at 9.30 p.m. the next day. The 0912 Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus Special departing from Gorakhpur on every Tuesday has been extended to run on 23.12.2008, 30/12, 6/1/09 and 13/1/09 at 9.30 a.m. to arrive at Bandra Terminus at 10.35 p.m. the next day. In the return direction the 0911 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur special train departing from Bandra Terminus on every Sunday has been extended to run on 21.12.2008,28/12, 4/1/09and 11/1/09 at 8.10 a.m. to arrive at Gorakhpur at 10.40 p.m. the next day.

2013A/2014A NEW DELHI –LUDHIANA SHATABDI-NEW DELHI SPECIAL TRAIN (DAILY)- TOTAL 28 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 2013A New Delhi-Ludhiana Shatabdi special train (Daily) will depart from New Delhi from 03.12.2008 to 31.12.2008 everyday at 6.30 p.m. to arrive at Ludhiana at 11.05 p.m. the same day. While its return service the 2014A Ludhiana-New Delhi Shatabdi special train (Daily) will depart from Ludhiana from 04.12.2008 to 10.01.2009 at 6.00 a.m. to arrive at New Delhi at 10.35 a.m. the same day.

0478/0477 HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN -PUNE- HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN WEEKLY SUPERFAST EXPRESS TRAIN -TOTAL 5 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION

The 0477 Pune-Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Superfast special train will run on every Friday from Pune from 12.12.2008 to 09.01.2009 at 02.10 p.m. to arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin at 04.40 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 0478 Hazrat Nizamuddin -Pune Weekly Superfast special train will run on every Thursday from Hazrat Nizamuddin from 11.12.2008 to 08.01.2009 at 08.55 a.m. to arrive at Pune at 11.05 a.m. the next day.

The 2910 A Hazrat Nizamuddin- Mumbai Central Garib Rath Special train will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin from 02.12.2008 to 14.12.2008 at 5.55 p.m. on every Friday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday to arrive at Mumbai Central at 10.45 a.m. the next day. In the return direction the 2909A Mumbai Central- Hazrat Nizamuddin Garib Rath Special train will depart from Mumbai Central from 03.12.2008 to 15.12.2008 at 04.15 p.m on every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday to arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin at 9.30 a.m. the next day.

The 2910A/2909A Hazrat Nizamuddin -Mumbai- Hazrat Nizamuddin Garib Rath Special Train having 3 Tier AC coaches will halt at Kota, Ratlam, Vadodara and Borivalli stations enroute in both the directions.

SELECTED SLEEPER CLASS COACHES EARMARKED AS UNRESERVED COACHES BETWEEN SPECIFIC SECTION ON

For the convenience of the unreserved rail passengers, Railway has  earmarked some of the sleeper class coaches  as unreserved  coaches between specific section of stations in the following trains from 1.12.2007  as per the programme:-

SALIENT FEATURES OF NORTHERN RAILWAY NEW TIME TABLE

1. 2212/2211 ANAND VIHAR-BAPUDHAM MOTIHARI GARIBRATH EXPRESS (WEEKLY)

The 2212 Anand Vihar-Bapu Dham Motihari Garib Rath Express will depart from Anand Vihar at 8.50 p.m. on every Monday to reach Bapu Dham Motihari at 4.05 p.m. the next day.  In the return direction the 2211 Bapu Dham Motihari-Anand Vihar Garibrath Express will depart from Bapu Dham at 4.30 p.m. on every Wednesday to reach Anand Vihar at 12.35 p.m. the next day.  Consisting of  Garib Rath AC 3 tier coaches & Gerato vans.  The 2212/2211 Garib Rath will stop at Lucknow , Shahjahanpur, Bareilly and Moradabad stations enroute over Northern Railway in both  the directions.

2. 2213/2214 VARANASI-ANAND VIHAR GARIB RATH EXPRESS (TRI-WEEKLY)

            The 2213 Varanasi-Anand Vihar Garib Rath will depart from Varanasi at 7.30 p.m. on every Sunday,  Tuesday & Thursday to reach Anand Vihar at 10.05 a.m. the next day.  In the return direction the 2214 Anand Vihar-Varanasi Garib Rath will depart  from Anand Vihar at 6.15 p.m. on every Monday,  Wednesday & Friday to reach Varanasi at 9.20 a.m. the next day.   Consisting of  Garib Rath AC 3 tier coaches  & Generator vans .  The 2213/2214 Garib Rath will stop at Partapgarh, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Lucknow , Bareilly , Moradabad stations enroute in both  the directions over Northern Railway.

3. 4603/4604 SAHARSA-AMRITSAR JAN SADHARAN EXPRESS (WEEKLY) VIA HASANPUR

            The 4604 Amritsar-Saharsa Jan Sadharan Express will depart from Amritsar at 01.10 p.m. on every Wednesday to reach Saharsa at 8.00 p.m. the next day.  In the return direction the 4603 Saharsa-Amritsar  Jansadaran  Express will depart from Saharsa at 4.20 p.m. on every Friday to reach Amritsar at 2.50 a.m. the second day (Sunday).  The 4604/4603 Jan Sadharan Express will stop at Beas, Jalandhar City , Ludhiana , Sirhind, Amabala Cantt., Saharanpur , Najibabad, Moradabad , Bareilly , Shahjahanpur, Sitapur Cantt. stations enroute in both the directions over Northern Railway.

4. 4020A/4019A ANAND VIHAR-JOGBANI LINK EXPRESS (WEEKLY)

            The 4020 A Anand Vihar-Jogbani Link Express will depart from Anand Vihar at 9.40 a.m. on every Wednesday to reach Jogbani at 01.10 p.m. the next day.  In the return direction the 4019 A Jogbani-Anand Vihar Link Express  will depart from Jogbani at 10.45 p.m. on every Thursday to reach Anand Vihar at 7.40 a.m. the next day.  The 4020A/4019A will stop at Moradabad , Bareilly , Lucknow , Varanasi   stations  enroute in both the directions over Northern Railway. The train will have AC 3 Tier and  second class sleeper coaches.

5. 4020/4019 ANAND VIHAR-RADHIKAPUR EXPRESS (WEEKLY) VIA CHHAPRA

            The 4020 Anand Vihar-Radhikapur Express will depart from Anand Vihar at 9.40 a.m. on every Wednesday to reach Radhikapur at 11.55 a.m. the next day.  In the return direction 4019 Radhikapur-Anand Vihar Express will depart from Radhikapur at 10.15 p.m. on every Thursday to reach Anand Vihar at 7.40 a.m.  the next day. The 4020/4019 will stop at Moradabad , Bareilly , Lucknow , Varanasi stations enroute in both the directions over Northern Railway.  The train will have AC 2 Tier, AC 3Tier and second class sleeper accommodation.

6.2484/2483 AMRITSAR-KOCHUVELI EXPRESS (WEEKLY) 

            The 2484 Amritsar-Kochuveli Express will depart from Amritsar at 6.05 a.m. on every Monday to reach Kochuveli at 3.30 p.m. the third  day.  In the return direction the 2483 Kochuveli-Amritsar  Express will depart from Kochuveli at 8.50 a.m. on every Friday to reach Amritsar at 7.35 p.m. the third day.  The 2484/2483 Express will stop at Jallandhar City ,  Ludhiana , Ambala Cantt., Nizamuddin stations enroute in both the directions over Northern Railway. The train will have A.C. 2 Tier, A.C. 3 Tier and sec and class sleeper accommodation.

7. 2233/2234 LUCKNOW-NEW DELHI AIR CONDITIONED EXPRESS (TRI-WEEKLY)

            The 2233 Lucknow - New Delhi AC Express will depart from Lucknow at 11.30 p.m. on every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday to reach New Delhi at 7.20 a.m. the next day.  In the return direction the 2234 New Delhi-Lucknow AC Express will depart from New Delhi at 11.25 p.m. on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday to reach Lucknow at 7.45 a.m. the next day.  Consisting of 1 First Class AC, 2 AC 2 tier, 7 AC  3 tier sleeper  and 2 luggage van cum generator cars, the 2233/2234 Express will stop at Ghaziabad,  Moradabad, Bareilly Stations enroute in both the directions.

8. 2470/2469 JAMMU TAWI-KANPUR EXPRESS (WEEKLY)

            The  2470 Jammu Tawi-Kanpur Express will depart from Jammu Tawi at 8.15. p.m. on every Tuesday to reach Kanpur Central at 2.45  p.m. the next day.  In the return direction the 2469 Kanpur-Jammu Tawi Express will depart from Kanpur Central at 5.05 p.m. on every Wednesday to reach Jammu Tawi at 11.35 a.m. the next day.  Consisting of 1  AC 3 tier, 8 second class sleeper,  4 general  second class coaches and 2 second class cum luggage vans , the 2470/2469 will stop at Chakki Bank, Jallandhar City, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt., Saharanpur Jn., Laksar Jn., Moradabad , Bareilly Jn., Sahajanpur Jn.,  Hardoi and Balamau Jn.  stations enroute in both the directions..

9.  2205/2206 HAZRAT NIZAMMUDDIN-DEHRADUM AC EXPRESS ( SIX DAYS )

            The 2205 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Dehradun A.C. Express will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 11.55 p.m.  every day except Saturday to reach Dehradun at 5.40 a.m. the next day.  In the return direction the 2206 Dehradun-Nizamuddin Express will depart from Dehradun at 11.25 p.m.  every day except Sunday to reach Nizamuddin at 5.05 a.m.   Consisting of  AC First Class,  AC 2 tier,  AC 3 tier and  luggage vans cum generator cars, the 2205/2206 will stop at Ghaziabad , Meerut City , Muzzafar Nagar, Roorkee & Haridwar stations enroute in both the directions.

10. 4037/4038 DELHI JN. -PATHANKOT EXPRESS (TRI-WEEKLY)

            The 4037 Delhi-Pathankot Express will depart from Delhi Jn.at 8.00 a.m. on every Tuesday, Friday & Sunday to reach Pathankot at 6.00 p.m. the same day.  In the return direction the 4038 Pathankot-Delhi Express will depart from Pathankot at 7.00 a.m. on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday to reach Delhi Jn. at 5.30 p.m. the same day.  The train will have A.C. Chair Car  second  seating and general second class  cum luggage vans coaches.  

11. 2448A/2447A HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN-KHAJURAHO LINK EXPRESS  (TRI-WEEKLY)

            The 2448A Nizamuddin-Khajuraho Link Express will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 9.35 p.m. on every Tuesday, Friday & Sunday to reach Khajuraho at 7.50 a.m. the next day.  In the return direction the 2447A Khajuraho-Nizamuddin Link Express will depart from Khajuraho at 6.15 p.m. on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday to reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 5.25 a.m. the next day. Consisting of  A/C 2 tier, AC 3 tier second class sleeper ,  general 2nd class  &  luggage vans, will stop at the stoppages of 2447/2448.

12. 4260/4259 VARANASI-RAMESHWARAM EXPRESS (WEEKLY)

            The 4260 Varanasi-Rameshwaram Express will depart from Varanasi at 9.15 p.m. on every Sunday to reach Rameshwaram at 3.30 a.m. the third day. In the return direction the 4259 Rameshwaram-Varanasi Express will depart from Rameshwaram at 10.00 p.m. on every Wednesday to reach Varanasi at 4.40 a.m. the third day. Consisting of  A.C. 2 Tier , A.C. 3 Tier,  second class general second class  sleeper  and luggage vans.

 13. 2210/2209 KATHGODAM-KANPUR GARIB RATH EXPRESS (WEEKLY)

            The 2210 Kathgodam-Kanpur Garib Rath Express will depart from Kathgodam at 6.30 p.m. on every Monday to reach Kanpur at 4.15 a.m. the next day. In the return direction the 2209 Kanpur-Kathgodam Garib Rath Express will depart from Kanpur at 6.00 a.m. on every Tuesday to reach Kathgodam at 3.10 p.m. Consisting of  A.C. 3 tier coaches, the 2210/2209 Garib Rath Express will stop at Rampur , Bareilly , Sahajahanpur & Lucknow   stations enrotue in both the directions over Northern Railway. 

14. 5036A/5035A     RAMNAGAR-DELHI LINK EXPRESS (DAILY)

            The 5036A Ram Nagar-Delhi link Express will depart from Ramnagar at 9.45 a.m. to reach Delhi Jn. at 3.25 p.m. the same day. In the return direction the 5035A Delhi- Ram Nagar link express will depart from Delhi   Jn. at 4.00 p.m. to reach Ram Nagar at 9.40 p.m. the same day. Consisting of   A.C. Chair Car and  second class seating coaches, the 5036A/5035A link Express will stop at Moradabad station enroute in both the directions. This train will be attached with/ detached from 5035/5036 Uttaranchal Sampark Kranti Express from/ at Moradabad .

15  2982/2981 UDAIPUR-DELHI CHETAK EXPRESS( TRI-WEEKLY) VIA AJMER

                The 2982 Udaipur-Delhi Chetak Express will depart from Udaipur at 5.15 p.m on every Monday, Wednesday & Friday to reach  Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 5.30 a.m the next day. In the return direction the 2981 Delhi-Udaipur Chetak Express will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 7.40 p.m. on every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday to reach Udaipur at 7.55 a.m. the next day. Consisting of  A.C. 2 Tier, A.C. 3 Tier,   second class sleeper, general second class  and  luggage cum vans, the 2981/2982 Chetak Express will stop at Rewari, Delhi Cantt. stations enroute in both the directions over Northern Railway.

16.  9053/9054 SURAT-MUZAFFARPUR EXPRESS (WEEKLY) VIA CHHAPRA

            The 9053 Surat-Muzaffarpur Express will depart from Surat at 5.30 a.m. on every Friday to reach Muzaffarpur at 4.30 a.m. the  next day. In the return direction the 9054 Muzaffarpur-Surat Express will depart from Muzaffarpur at 7.25 p.m. on every Sunday to reach Surat at 7.20 p.m. the next day. The 9053/9053 will stop at Lucknow , Shahganj, stations  enroute in both the directions over Northern Railway.

17. 2287/2288 KOCHUVELI-DEHRADUN EXPRESS (WEEKLY)

            The 2287 Kochuveli-Dehradun Express will depart from Kochuveli at 8.50 a.m. on every Wednesday to reach Dehradun at 6.05 p.m. the third day. In the return direction the 2288 Dehradun-Kochuveli Express will depart from Dehradun at 7.20 a.m. on every Sunday  to reach Kochuveli at 3.30 p.m. the third day.  Consisting of  A.C. 2 Tier,   A.C. 3 Tier,  second class  sleeper,  general second class  and  luggage vans, the 2287/2288 Kochuveli-Dehradun express will stop at  Hazrat Nizamuddin, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee  and Haridwar stations  enroute in both the directions over Northern Railway.

18 2569/2570 JAYANAGAR-HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN GARIB RATH EXPRESS (BI-WEEKLY)VIA PATNA

            The 2569 Jayanagar-Hazrat Nizamuddin Garib Rath Express will depart from Jayanagar at 12.10 p.m. on every Monday and Friday to reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 8.40 a.m. the next day. In the return direction the 2570 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Jayanagar Garib Rath Express will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 4.50 p.m. on every Tuesday and Saturday to reach Jayanagar at 01.30 p.m. the next day. Consisting of A.C. 3  tier  coaches.

19. 2984/2983 JAIPUR-CHANDIGARGH GARIB RATH EXPRESS(TRI-WEEKLY) VIAREWARI-  BHIWANI-ROHTAK-PANIPAT

                     The 2984 Jaipur- Chandigarh Garib Rath Express will depart from Jaipur at 8.05 p.m on every Tuesday, Friday & Sunday to reach Chandigargh at 6.35 a.m  the next day. In the return direction the 2983 Chandigarh-Jaipur Garib Rath Express will deprt from Chandigarh at 09.05 p.m. on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday to reach Jaipur at 7.40 a.m. the next day. Consisting of  A.C. 3 Tier, the 2984/2983 Jaipur-Chandigarh Garib Rath Express will stop at Rewari, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra and  Ambala  stations enroute in both the directions. 20. 2877/2878 RANCHI-NEW DELHI GARIB RATH EXPRESS (BI-WEEKLY)

            The 2877 Ranchi - New Delhi Garib Rath Express will depart from Ranchi at 5.30 p.m. on every Monday & Friday to reach New Delhi at 11.00 a.m. the next day. In the return direction the 2878 New Delhi-Ranchi Garib Rath Express will depart from New Delhi on every Wednesday and Saturday at 4.10 p.m. to reach Ranchi at 9.20 a.m. the next day. This train will have  A.C. 3 Tier  coaches.

21  5107/5108 MATHURA-CHHAPRA EXPRESS (TRI-WEEKLY) VIA LUCKNOW

            The 5107 Chhapra-Mathura Express will depart from Chhapra at 6.00 p.m. on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to reach Mathura at 1.30 p.m. the next day. In the return direction the 5108 Mathura-Chhapra Express will depart from Mathura at 4.15 p.m. on every Tuesday, Thursday & Friday to reach Chhapra at 2.40 p.m. the next day. The 5107/5108 Mathura-Chhapra Express will stop at Kanpur , Lucknow , Barabanki stations enroute in both the directions over Northern Railway.

22. 5668/5667KAMAKHYA-GANDHIDHAM  EXPRESS (WEEKLY)

            The 5668 Kamakhya-Gandhidham Express will depart from Kamakhya at 11.00 a.m. on every Wednesday to reach Gandhidham at 4.50a.m. the third day. In the return direction the 5667 Gandhidham-Kamakhya Express will depart from Gandhidham  at 1.15 p.m. on every Saturday  to reach Kamakhya at 7.00 a.m. the third day. The 5667/5668 will stop at Kanpur Central, Lucknow ,  & Varanasi stations enroute in both the directions over Northern Railway .

23.        4705/4706 SADULPUR-DELHI SARAI ROHILLA EXPRESS (TRI WEEKLY)

            The 4706 Sadulpur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express will depart from Sadulpur at 2.00 p.m. to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 6.25 p.m. the  same day. In the return direction the 4705 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Sadulpur Express will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla  at 7.55 a.m. to reach Sadulpur at 12.45 p.m. the same day. The 4705/4706  will stop at Delhi Cantt., Gurgaon, Garhi Hasaru and Pataudi Road stations enroute in both the directions.

24.       3USN/4USN AMBALA CANTT.-NANGAL DAM  MEMU (DAILY)

            The 3USN Ambala Cantt.-Nangal Dam MEMU will depart from Ambala Cantt. at 11.50 a.m. to reach Nangal Dam at 3.55 p.m. the same day. In the return direction the 4USN Nangal Dam-Ambala Cantt., MEMU will depart from Nangal Dam at 10.40 a.m. every day to reach Ambala Cantt. at 3.45 p.m. the same day. The 3USN/4USN will stop at all stations enroute in both the directions.

B.    EXTENSION OF TRAINS

1. 4201/4202 Mathura-Lcukow Express  will be extended upto Patna . The train will run via Sultanpur on additional days as 3239/3240.

2.         2409/2410 H. NIZAMUDDIN-BILASPUR GONDWANA EXPRESSTO RAIGARH

            The 2409 Bilaspur- Hazrat Nizamuddin Gondwana Express will depart from Raigarh at 3.30 a.m. to reach H.Nizamuddin at 7.15 a.m. the next day. In the return direction the 2410 will depart from H. Nizamuddin at 3.25 p.m. to reach Raigarh at 7.00 p.m. the next day.

3.         4207/4208  DELHI-RAE BARELI PADMAVAT EXPRESS TO PRATAPGARH

            The 4208 Padmavat Express will arrive at Raebareli at 6.00 a.m. and will depart from Rae Bareli at 6.20 a.m. to reach Partapgarh at 8.05 a.m.. In the return direction the 4207 will depart from Pratapgarh at 5.00 p.m. reach to Rae Bareli at 6.50 p.m. the same day. The 4207/4208 Padmavat Express will halt at Amethi station enroute on the extended portion.

4.        8611/8612 RANCHI-VARANASI EXPRESS TO SAMBALPUR VIA ROURKELA(TWO DAYS) WITH NEW NUMBER  8311/8312   

            The 8312 Varanasi-Sambalpur Express will depart from Varanasi at 02.55 p.m. on every Monday and Thursday to reach Ranchi at 4.15 a.m.  and depart from there at 4.25 a.m. and reach  at Sambalpur at 11.15 a.m. In the return direction the train  no. 8311 Sambalpur-Varanasi Express will depart from Sambalpur at 01.15 p.m. on every Wednesday and Sunday to reach Ranchi   at 08.10 p.m. and depart from there at 8.20 p.m. to Varanasi at 8.55 a.m. 

5.         2057/2058 NEW DELHI-CHANDIGARH JAN SHATABDI EXPRESSTO NANGAL-DAM (w.e.f. 1.7.2008)

            The train no. 2057 New Delhi-Nangal-Dam Jan Shatabdi Express will depart from New Delhi at 03.00 p.m. to reach Chandigarh at 7.15 p.m. and depart from there at 7.30 p.m. to reach at Nangal Dam at 09.40 p.m. the same day. In the return direction the 2058 Nangal-Dam-New Delhi Jan Shatabdi Express will depart from Nangal Dam at 05.00 a.m. to reach Chandigarh at 7.20 a.m. and depart from 7.30 a.m. to reach New Delhi at 12.00 noon  the same day. The 2057/2058 Jan Shatabdi Express will have additional stoppage at Morinda station enroute in both the directions.

C.        INCREASE IN FREQUENCY  

1.      The frequency of 2449/2450 H. Nizamuddin-Madgaon  Goa Sampark Kranti Express will be increased from weekly to bi-weekly. The 2450 Goa Sampark Kranti Express will now run on every Monday and Saturday while the 2449 Goa Sampark Kranti Express will run on  every Tuesday and Wednesday.

2.      The frequency of 2432/2431  H. Nizamuddin-Thiruvanthapuram Rajdhani Express train will be increased from bi-weekly to tri weekly. The 2432 Rajdhani Express will now run on every Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday. The 2431 Rajdhani Express will run on every Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.

3.      The frequency of 2421/2422 Bhubaneshwar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express train will be increased from bi-weekly to tri weekly . The 2421 Rajdhani Express will now run on every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The 2422 Rajdhani Express will now run on every Monday, Friday & Sunday.

4.      The frequency of 2425/2426 New Delhi-Jammu Tawi Rajdhani Express train will be increased from weekly to daily (w.e.f. 1.7.2008).

5.      The frequency of 2203/2204 Amritsar-Saharasa Garib Rath Express train  will be increased from bi-weekly to tri weekly. The 2203 Garib Rath Express train will now run on every Monday, Thursday & Sunday. The 2204 Garib Rath Express train will now run on every Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday.

6.      The frequency of 5109/5110 Varanasi-Rajgir Express train will be increased from tri-weekly to daily.

7.      The frequency of 2191/2192 New Delhi-Jabalpur Express train will be increased from bi-weekly to daily. The 2192 Jabalpur - New Delhi Express will depart from Jabalpur at revised time of 05.45 p.m. every day to reach New Delhi at 11.40 a.m. the next day. In the return direction the 2191 New Delhi-Jablapur Express will depart from New Delhi at  revised time of 2.00 p.m. to reach Jablapur at 7.00 a.m. the next day (w.e.f. 1.7.2008).

8.      The frequency of 2355/2356 Rajender Nagar-Jammu Tawi Archana Express train will increase from weekly to bi-weekly. The 2335 Archana Express train will now run on every Tuesday & Saturday. The 2356 Archana Express train will now run on every Sunday & Wednesday.

9.      The frequency of 5279/5280 Saharsa-Adarsh Nagar Poorabiya  Express  train will be increased  from weekly to bi-weekly. The 5297 Poorabiya Express train will now run on every Thursday and Saturday. The 5279  Poorabiya Express train will now run on every Friday & Sunday.

10.  The frequency of 2055/2056 New Delhi-Dehradun Jan Shatabdi Express will be increased from six days a week to daily(w.e.f. 1.7.2008).

11.  The frequency of 2057/2058 New Dlehi-Nagal-Dam Jan Shatabdi Express train will be increased from six days a week to daily (w.e.f. 1.7.2008).

12.  The frequency of 9269/9270 Porbander-Bapu Dham Motihari Express train will be increased from weekly to bi-weekly. The 9269 Motihari Express will now run on every Thursday & Friday.  The 9270 Motihari Express will now run on every Sunday & Monday.

D.        DIVERSION OF TRAINS

            In order to speed up the trains the route of following trains is being shortened

1.      Diversion of 8101/8102 Tata Nagar-Jammu Tawi Muri  Express via Delhi without touching New Delhi . (effective from 5.9.2008)

2.      Diversion of 4217/4218 Allahabad-Chandigarh Unchahar Express via Delhi Jn. without touching New Delhi (effective from 13.8.2008)

3.      Diversion of 2903/2904 Mumbai-Amritsar Golden Temple Mail via H. Nizamuddin-Ghaziabad instead of H.Nizamuddin-New Delhi-Ghaziabad.(from 5.9.08)

4.      Diversion of 9019/9020 Bandra Terminus-Dehradun Express via H. Nizamuddin-Ghaziabad instead of H. Nizamuddin-New Delhi-Delhi Jn.-Ghaziabad (effective from 6.9.08)

5.      Diversion of 4645/4646 New Delhi-Jammu Tawi Shalimar Express via Chakki Bank without touching Pathankot.

6.      Diversion of 3151/3152 Sealdah-Jammu Tawi Express via Chakki Bank without touching Pathankot. (Notes: Timings of these trains from 1.7.08 upto the date of diversion for the stations to be by passed can be checked from Railway Enquiry No. 139 on Northern Railway Public Time Table-2008.

E.         CHANGE OF DAYS

1.      9772  Amritsar-Jaipur Express bi-weekly train will now run on every Tuesday & Thursday and  9782 Amritsar-Jaipur Express bi-weekly train will now run on every Friday  & Sunday. The 9771 Jaipur-Amritsar Express will now run on every Thursday & Saturday. (Date to be decided)

2.      The 2535 Lucknow-Raipur Garib Rath Express train will now run on revised days of Monday & Thursday w.e.f. 4.9.2008 ex.Lucknow. The 2536 Raipur-Lucknow  Garib Rath will now run on every Tuesday & Friday w.e.f. 5.9.08 ex.Raipur.

3.      The 2208 Jammu Tawi- Kathgodam Express will now run on every Tuesday instead of Monday (Date will  be announced later)

F.         CHANGE IN TERMINAL 

1.      The 2481/2482 Sriganganagar-New Delhi Intercity Express train will now originate/terminate at Delhi Jn. instead of New Delhi .

2.      The 4731/4732 Bhatinda-New Delhi Intercity Express will now originate from / terminate at Delhi Jn. instead of New Delhi .

3.      The 9019A/9020A Nimach-Delhi Link Express slip coaches extended to Meerut City via H.Nizamuddin without touching Delhi Jn(w.e.f. 4.9.2008).

G.        CANCELLATION OF TRAINS

The 2LB Lucknow-Bachharwan workmen shuttle stands cancelled between Lucknow-Baccharwan w.e.f. 5.7.2008 with rescheduling of 2VPL passenger.

H         RESCHEDULING OF TRAINS

1.       The 2558 Delhi Jn.-Muzaffarpur Sapt Kranti Express will now depart from New Delhi   at revised time of 3.00 p.m. instead of scheduled time of 6.10 p.m

2.       The 8610 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Ranchi Express will now arrive at Varanasi  at 7.45 p.m. and depart at 7.55 p.m. with the stoppage of 10 minutes as against the existing  time of arrival of 8.25 p.m. and departure of 8.45 p.m.

3.       The 2192 New Delhi-Jablapur  Express  will now depart from New Delhi at 2.00 p.m. instead of  existing  time of 5.25 p.m.

4.       The 6UKM  Ambala-Kurukshetra-MEMU will depart  from Ambala Cantt. at the revised time of 04.05 p.m. instead of scheduled time of 11.15 a.m.

.5.       The 2057 New Delhi-Chandigarh  Jan Shatabdi Express will depart from New Delhi at 3.00 p.m. instead of  scheduled time of 3.50 p.m.

.6.       The 2314 New Delhi-Sealdah Rajdhani Express will now depart from New Delhi at 4.30 p.m. instead of scheduled time of 4.45 p.m.

7.       The 2388 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Rajender Nagar Jan Sadharan Express will now depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 2.25 p.m. instead of scheduled time of 2.00 p.m..

8.       The 4308 Bareilly-Mughalsarai Express will now depart from Bareilly at 5.00 p.m. instead of scheduled time of 7.00 p.m.

9.       The 4265 Varanasi-Dehradun Express will now depart from Varanasi at 11.55. a.m. instead of scheduled time of 8..40 a.m.
